Social Media Success Tip #4: Create a Posting Schedule
Remember our tip from Day 2 of this Social Media Success Series? We talked about the kind of content you should post on your social media profiles to reflect your brand.

Today, we are building upon that tip and encouraging you to create a posting schedule: how many times do you want to post to Facebook per week? How many times do you want to post to Twitter per day? This is important for you to think about so that you will stay consistent with your social media presence. You want others to remember you and your brand, so posting on a regular schedule will keep you top-of-mind with your audience.
When we work with clients, we recommend starting small but staying consistent. In other words:
- Post 2-3 times on LinkedIn and Facebook each week
- Post 1-2 times per day on Instagram
- Post 2-3 times per day on Twitter
Start a new Excel worksheet or write out your posting schedule on your calendar so you will remember how many times each week to post to each of your networks (download our Excel template or our PDF template to get started!).
Post with your new schedule and then tell us what you think in the comments below!
